At a time when our world is facing threats from all sides, Pope Francis has chosen to release an encyclical, Dilexit nos (He Loved Us), to remind us of the unconditional and never-failing love of Christ for all of us. When we open ourselves to this love, he says, we can become the ambassadors of Christ that we are called to be by our baptism, and we can help change our own hearts as well as the hearts of others.
