We hope this booklet will be of value to bishops, clergy and authorised lay ministers who are concerned about the issue of theological leadership from personal and vocational perspectives, and who are in a position to make changes in their own ministry practice and the institutional culture of their respective faith communities.
We hope it will be useful to lay leaders of the church, including leaders in Dioceses, parishes and organisations.
We also hope that it will be of use to congregations looking for resources and ideas about how to more fully integrate their faith and their life and work in the world.
Standing Committee invited Peter Adam (Vicar St Jude’s Carlton) to convene and chair the Melbourne-based task force which comprised himself, Alison Taylor (Vicar St Dunstan’s Camberwell) and Richard Treloar (Trinity College Theological School). All members of the task force had a hand in drafting and editing the document, but the principal editor of each section is located on the Contents page.
You can use this as a workbook or discussion book. Each of the six sessions tackles a different area of theological leadership.
