James Finley, a psychotherapist, retreat leader, and spiritual director, is part of the Core Faculty of the Center for Action and Contemplation in New Mexico. A former monk under Thomas Merton at the Abbey of Gethsemani, he is the author of Merton’s Palace of Nowhere. His other books include his bestseller, The Healing Path: A Memoir and an Invitation, and a previous volume in this series, Thomas Merton.
