Young people have questions and worries; they want to know what is happening in the world and how it affects them. This book approaches their big questions about peace, war, violence, and reconciliation with sensitivity and objectivity. Quotes from children from war and crisis areas make these topics tangible and understandable.
Elisabeth Raffauf is a psychologist who works in private practice in Cologne, Germany. She helped develop an educational series for children’s radio and hosted a children’s news program. She has also written parenting guides and educational books.
Günther Jakobs is an illustrator of children’s and young adult books. He studied philosophy and graphic design with a focus on illustration.
