In this new Saints of the Beatitudes collection of eight booklets, children will learn about the beatitudes, or blessings, that Jesus gave us in his Sermon on the Mount. This collection features Saints Patrick, Jude, Monica and Augustine, Faustina Kowalska, Bernadette Soubirous, Katharine Drexel, Pope John XXIII, and Carlo Acutis, who is set to be canonized in 2025. Booklets are available individually or as a set.
Barbara Yoffie has been in Catholic education for 35 years as both a primary grades classroom teacher and religion education coordinator. Currently, she is the coordinator of religious education at St. Clement of Rome Elementary School, St. Louis, MO. She is a well-known presenter on a variety of topics, including seasons of the Church year, saints, creative activities, and praying with children. Yoffie has a master’s degree in religious education administration from Loyola University, New Orleans, a bachelor’s degree in art education, and a certificate of religious studies, from Paul VI Institute, St. Louis. She is the author of the Saints and Me! series, as well as several pamphlets and booklets on saints.
Award-winning artist Chris Sharp has been writing and illustrating children’s books and related materials in both the trade and liturgical markets for over 20 years. He lives in Saint Charles, Missouri.
