On November 21, 2025, thousands of young people met with Pope Leo XIV online for an informal conversation. Their heartfelt questions—about trusting God, feeling overwhelmed, using AI and social media, making youth part of future planning for the Church, and more—shine a light on what they are struggling with at this moment in time.
The pope’s compassionate, down-to-earth responses offer a roadmap for dealing with many challenges facing today’s teens and young adults. This wisdom is food for the journey for young people of faith! His words of encouragement include:
“Look to Jesus. Trust his mercy and go to him with confidence.”
“Giving our problems to Jesus is something we can do again and again.”
“Remember that the Lord invites us to grow through our challenges.”
