LAUDATE DEUM WEBINAR
Laudate Deum and our Call to Climate Action and Justice
Thursday 29 May 2025
In 2023, Pope Francis was due to attend the COP28 meeting on climate change, but unfortunately, he fell ill. He then released to us the gift of the statement he intended to make – Laudate Deum. Laudate Deum is a reminder of our call to act for climate justice in our world.
This webinar will focus on how we can all play a role in advocating for change for people and the planet.
Joining Alice Carwardine will be Thea Ormerod, President of the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change. Thea has been a champion of climate justice for many years, particularly working with all peoples of faith in Australia, not just the Catholic Church.
Accreditation is available.^
We look forward to you joining us.
