Dr Mary L Coloe is an Australian religious sister and New Testament Biblical Theologian who specialises in the Gospel of John. She is a member of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary – a Roman Catholic religious order dedicated to education and social justice for those trapped in poverty of some form.

In 2023 Mary retired from teaching at Yarra Theological Union and is now Professor Emerita of the University of Divinity, in Box Hill, Victoria, Australia. She continues to write and offer some talks in Parishes and Spirituality in the Pub, as well as using Zoom to teach students in Pakistan, India, Zambia, and some colleges in America.

Mary served seven years on an international dialogue for the Pontifical Council for Christian Unity.
