Many Hispanic families celebrate the fifteenth birthday of their daughters with a solemn blessing, whether in a Mass or outside of it. Presented in Spanish and English, this booklet contains the appropriate rite for each occasion, whether for a single adolescent or a group, as approved by the bishops of the United States. The celebration thanks God for the life of the young person, and for the blessings poured out upon her and her loved ones, while she renews her commitment to Christian life and consecrates herself to the Blessed Virgin Mary, model of faith in Christ. The booklet includes an appendix with the Universal Prayer.
