Virtual Book Launch Recording

On 16 March 2023, Garratt Publishing, Australian Jesuits, and Catholic Social Services Victoria hosted the virtual book launch of Frank Brennan's new book An Indigenous Voice to Parliament: Considering a Constituional Bridge.

During the launch Frank discussed his book and Q&A session followed.

In An Indigenous Voice to Parliament, Frank – Catholic priest, lawyer, and academic – draws on his extensive experience with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to outline the difficult path travelled by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders that has led us to this decisive moment in Australian history.

An Indigenous Voice to Parliament outlines this long debate – much of which will not be found in the daily media discourse. Importantly, Frank proposes additional ideas for discussion and presents both the ‘Yes’ and ‘No’ cases – enabling all Australians to be better informed before casting their vote.

An Indigenous Voice to Parliament is a topical and informed analysis of this current debate and is an ideal resource for those wanting to understand what an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament will actually mean.

Garratt Publishing was proud to work with Australian Jesuits and Catholic Social Services Victoria to bring this event to you.
