The book is organised by month from September to June and can be used in classroom or whole school setting. Some of the services have parts for the students to act out. Others are more contemplative. All are designed to include the involvement of many students yet can be easily adapted to suit the individual needs of those who are using them.

Lisa Freemantle teaches elementary school. In addition to writing prayer services and liturgies, she has written more than 300 songs and has recently released her second album. Les Miller was a member of the author team, for World Religions: A Canadian Perspective. He is the recipient of CARFLEO 2009 Archbishop Pocock Award for Excellence in Religious Education and now teaches at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Melinda Rapallo-Ferrara is a special education teacher in Canada and works with children who have been diagnosed with learning difficulties.
